Got my Runner up's prizes from Matt Busch Scavengers hunt!

I can't say how excited I am for getting this prizes, I made a mistake on one only question =( and the answer was just in an earlier post on his website... I'm so stupid >.<

Anyway, I don't care, I just got the package today after thinking that I wasn't going to get anything because the mexican mail sometimes sucks... but I got it today!!!!!!!!! Here they are (please ignore the crappy working table >.<):

"Rogue supports Love"

This was my entry for a local Anime, Manga and Comics convention's drawing contest, I was very lucky to win 1st place with it! :D It's made with oils on opaline paper. I'm sooo wanting to photoshop it a little bit so I can make it better for printing on t-shirts ^^

"Rogue and Gambit"

Another X-men fanart. It was my theme for this Veracon (the anime convention I told you about in the previous paragraph). This was my entry for the Express drawing contest in wich you have like 1:30 hrs to make a pencil drawing. I was feeling sick that day, so I got really late and the sweet staff girl agreed to let me participate, I only had 30 minutes to work this drawing without mistakes, bcause we had a "community" eraser... and it was very far from my place >.< It needed more work, but I got the main idea :) I won 2nd place with it!!! :D Lucky mE!!!

"Loving Horses"

This is a commission for jupiternwndrlnd (MLPArena, DA). She asked me for a pair of horses with some specific features and then I gave them my style... lots of hair :D It's painted with oils on wood. I really hope she likes it >.<

And well, I still need to finish 3 more paintings I have in process... I can't wait to showoff them :D

MLP Custom's update ^^

Just bcause I haven't uploaded anything this months. I haven't made lots of customs since I've been through some rough times, but I was able to finish some and here they're:

WoW Ponies:
Made as commissions.

Elf Hunter

Made from a g2 pony. I sculpted her shoulders, arms and legs protectors as well as the eyebrows and the ears and the furr. Everything else is handpainted with acrylics.

Tiger:

This little tiger was a g3 sonrics pony from Mexico. I sculpted her face, ears, paws and tail with apoxie sculpt and then painted with acrylics.

Elf hunter and pet:

Gnome Warlock:

Made from a DG Newborn fakie. She's a mixture of 2 different character designs. The horns, the shoulder protections, the skirt and the shoes were sculpted. Everything else handpainted. The hairstyle is permanent >.<

The Imp:

Gnome Warlock and her Imp:

Purple Butterfly Pony:
Made as a commission but didn't got paid for her. She's for sale. $70 + shipping.

Made from a G3 baby. By commissioner's request I left the body as it was, I gave her new hair, a nice set of sculpted flowers on her hand to cover a big chewing mark. The wings are made with fabric and wire, painted with acrylics and sealed.

Purple Merpony:
Commissioned but not paid for. For sale: $90

She comes from a g3 pegasus named silver glow. I removed her feet and gave her a nice apoxie sculpt tail. Each scale is placed individually to gave her a more realistic and tridimensional look. Now that she's not a commission piece, and if she doesn't get sold as is, I will take off the original hair and give her a better combination and a longer mane.

Edward Scissorhands:
Commissioned but not paid for. For sale: $150 or best offer. + shipping.

From a g3 pony. Everything on his wardrobe was handsculpted, also the scissors wich are securely attached with wire inside of the pony. Everything painted with acrylics.

LDD Hazel & Hattie.
Commissioned piece. Still waiting for confirmation for the payment. Otherwise, they will be for sale on January or later.

I used a Petal Blossom and a Rainbow flash for this siamese twins. I removed 1 front leg from each one, wire them together and covered it with apoxie sculpt. Their dresses and shoes were handsculpted with apoxie sculpt. Painted with acrylics in an antique finishing and protected with sealant.

The Last Unicorn:

She comes from a g2 pony with head-tail mechanism. I removed it and started to work on her. Her horn, hair, furry feet and tail were hand sculpted. She was painted in different shades of blue, white and yellow. She's also for sale $100 + shipping.

Hope, the Ponyville Angel:

She's on ebay right now. Less than 2 days to go:

She was made from a ponyville Baybreeze pony. I added the sculpted wings previously attached by digging in the plastic to introduce the wire. The shape was given with aluminium. Then sculpted the wings using apoxie sculpt. She has some hair extentions made with apoxie too. Painted with acrylics and sealed for more protection.

Like I sad in my DA, this is my releasing as an artist. I'm really influenced by a lot of artists I met here at LJ and other online places, I just love erotism and sexy stuff, but sometimes I feel weird bcause my culture is a little closed to this themes. This is my first naughty painting in progress, I have another one that has a little naked girl, well, not so little... but ok, that's not the point...

Hi ^^ I'm showing here 2 of my newest customs...

LOVE BRINGER

I thought that this pony was going to be more interesting for people, since it's a pony painted with oils... it's a hard procedure, really... and smelly... I love oils, but I hate the smell when it's fresh ¬¬ Anyway, I'm so happy with the results here... She's a lovely pony, and she's also a pretty little gift box! You can open the little door she has on the symbol and keep jewerly or little notes there ;)

Hi ^^ This is my first painting uploaded here at LJ. It's an intimate scene that resembles my horse and me... in our own little world... I miss that horse so much, I hope to be able to go to the ranch this week so I can see if he's doing fine =(

It's made with oils. It still needs some details like the hands and some lights on the skin, my dad says that the girl looks boy-ish... too many influence from Saint Seiya he says... what can I do? I'm an anime/manga girl XD...

Thanks to Audrey Kawasaki and her beautiful influence about wood painting... I'm so comfortable with this surface, it's so friendly and warm... This one is made on a pine piece I found in the ranch... in fact , I stole it bcause all the pieces belong to my former teacher... but well, they were there, with no use... >.<

Hi ^^ here they are, my second pony set... Their story goes like this:

"Kakra and Kassia are a cute pair of twins, mommy took them to their first professional photo shooting session and they were allowed to use whatever they wanted!!! Kakra quickly chose a little white tie bcause she likes to confuse ponies looking as a boy ("I'm blue and I'm stronger than Kassia!!! They already think I'm a boy!!") while Kassia took her time to choose a beautiful little tiara that mommy placed on her ear...

It was a nice afternoon hangin' out together but the session was crazy!!! They spent all the time fighting and even with all this problems, the photographer took the photos that mommy was waiting for... 3 special photos featuring her beautiful pair of angels..."

Hi again! Well, here are my little girls. Yeah, both are girls, amazing uh? jejejejeje Kakra, the blue one, likes to pretend she's a boy and to play with the idea of confusing all the ponies while Kassia is a more girly creature. Both get along well, ok, most of the time they're fighting, but they love each other!!!

Both were born from DG Fakies, so no original G1 was hurt to get them. I attached the wings with a secure wiremesh base and then sculpted them with apoxie sculpt. The tie on Kakra and the little flower bouquet that Kassia has on her ear were sculpted too. All this pieces were protected with glossy sealant.

Their bodies were prepared with a white acrylic base and then carefully painted to get this antique look I like to have in my ponies. Then they were given with simple symbols (flower designs) to complete their look and not to mess with the overall image.

The hair was carefully rerooted using blue and lilac hair. Their eyes were painted in green for both of them being the only matching thing ^^ (as you can see their colors are inverted, Kakra is blue with lilac details and Kassia is lilac with blue details)

They look so pretty together!!!!! They're sooo cute ^^

Valentine's Kiss - MLP Custom Set ^-^

"Chocolate Truffles and Love Bouquet are Hubby 'n Wife... They're celebrating their first Valentine's day together, but as in every couple, Chocolate Truffles didn't know what to give to Love Bouquet in this special day... But when the moment of truth came, Chocolate Truffles got the best idea for a beautiful gift to his loving wife... He asked her to close her eyes, whispered a soft "I Love You" and then gave her a kiss on her forehead... Love Bouquet's eyes were full of tears of happiness... This was the best first Valentine's Day in their lifes ..."

Chocolate Truffles was made from a donkey pose pony. I sculpted his eyes and his mouth, as well as the cute furry feet to achieve his cute kissing look. Also, his symbol is handsculpted The painting is as usual, with acrylics in different shades of color...

MLP Custom Soccer Pony- BECKHAM!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Hi! I finished another Soccer pony!!! I've been bragging a lot of this guy bcause I'm really happy on how he turned out :)

I present you: MLP Custom Soccer Pony BECKHAM!!!

He started out as a G3 Triple Treats. After I made Ronaldinho as a pony for the MLPFair, I started 3 more soccer player ponies: Beckham, Totti and Ballack. I had several different projects after starting this guys, so they got delayed a lot.

You see him really different from a real pony since I sculpted his facial features to match more closely to a human face. His clothes where sculpted too as well as his shoes and socks. All the effects were achieved with acrylic paints in several layers. His eyes were handpainted trying to match that smoked pastel green of his eyes, I believe I missed a little bit of effect on his eyes, but well... he still looks cute =)

The mohawk... ok, here's the funny part!! I couldn't make it shorter, bcause it was going to be so hard to style it in a proper mohawk as the real Beckham. So, well, forgive me for that detail :(

Ohhh and he has his little tattoo on the back of his neck!!! >.<

I'm still thinking about selling him. I'm in several money issues and sadly, my dad received another bad new (last year he received a bad new in this same point of the year).. his monthly pay was reduced, $250 less than he used to receive. Also, he asked for a bank loan last year, so he has to pay $800 each month, and now, that's higher than what he's going to receive... I'm also dealing with the fact that I pay for my horse's pension each month and I only pay it with what I receive from the sale of my works... And now, I must gain at least $50 extra each month to help my parents ...

I'm really sad, bcause I'm trying to save some of my best customs to add them to an art expo if I can make it this year... They're part of my style, and I want to show them to the people here =( So, I hope things get better soon, so Beckham can be saved from being sold =(

Hi everyone, just in case that some pony fan reads this journal, I posted 2 customs for sale on ebay.

Darkness Wanderer was sold in BIN for $75!!! I'm so happy for it, and the best of all was that it was bought by a customizer I admire ^^ It's hard for me to separate from my customs, but it's good to know that he's going to be in good hands ^^

Up still for auction is Kohana, the oriental design pony.

She's so beautiful and I didn't think that I was going to sell her, but I really need to start paying my stuff (art supplies and the money I owe my dad) so she needs to go... Her reserve price is low, only $30, it's way less than it's supposed to be with the details she have.. I'm so proud of her eyes ^^ She looks amazing for a living room table ^^

Hi everyone, this months have been passing between heaven and hell to me.. I have a lot of projects to finish, but very little interest on them. Maybe something is missing in my style, I really don't know... I've seen new artists arriving to the MLP community and they're really good, I have to learn new things very quickly but I have to keep on my style as the artist I want to be... What a crazyness!!! But, no worries, I will remain the same buuut with new learnings ^^

About the webpage I was doing, well... How can I say it.. I'm not really good at organizing webpages... really... I'm really bad... I'd love to have a website like Aikarin's, but wahhh it's really full of beautiful details and I'm just learning how to make things right.. I'm basing now on Woosie's website, simple but really good too, although, her works doesn't need any explanations or such, they're just lovely =) Oh well, I have to work on that too =(... It's a great challenge for me ^^
